As you may already know, Nick Cann our Campsite Manager has been offered a new job running another activity centre and as a result he will no longer be able to manage Cricket. In addition to that Jess will also have to step down as Activities Coordinator and running the tuck shop. Both of them (and Theo) will be missed greatly and I’d like to thank them both for the hard work they’ve put into the site over the past 12 months and wish them all the best for the future.
In the absence of a Campsite Manager I would like to convene a Cricket Camp users meeting for people who are interested in the development and future of the site and to work out an action and development plan. This will largely be sharing ideas and thoughts and then agreeing what to prioritise. I’m hoping that bringing together a group of people with various ideas, experience and knowledge we can get a cohesive plan drawn up and box off some specific tasks so the site can continue to run and be an asset to the District.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 23 October 2019 from 730pm to 9pm at Cricket Camp.
